HONOLULU (KHNL) - A bill that would allow same sex civil unions in Hawaii stalls in a State Senate committee.
The 3-to-3 decision came down early Wednesday morning, after 18 hours of testimony.
Senators Mike Gabbard, Robert Bunda and Sam Slom all voted against the bill.
The bill can be recalled to the Senate floor if one-third of the committee members vote to call it back in 20 or more days.
